Folks from across southwest Montana and beyond, gathered in the small town of Three Forks today for an annual tradition- the Three Forks Rodeo Parade.
This year's theme was the American Cowboy.
Residents and visitors lined Main Street in downtown Three Forks, northwest of Bozeman.
The Gallatin County Sheriff's Department led the parade, as dozens of floats filed down the parade route.
We talked to locals who say they come out every year and visitors who tell us they wouldn't miss it.
"Just kind of spreads the word that, hey, this is a nice town," says Three Forks resident Seth Langford.
I asked Bozeman resident Graycen Shreiner her favorite part about the parade.
?
"When they threw out the candy," Shreiner replied.
The Three Forks Rodeo festivities continue Saturday night at 7p.
The first Three Forks Rodeo was held in 1946.
